Flat Pill provides an AI-powered platform that assists users in searching for rental properties and automating the application process across Europe. We are an intermediary tool; we do not own, manage, or guarantee any rental properties, and we are not a party to any rental agreement you enter into with a landlord.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Flat Pill. By using our service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
When you join our waiting list or create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may use Flat Pill solely for lawful personal apartment-search purposes. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload to Flat Pill. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and use that content solely to operate the service on your behalf. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the documents you upload are accurate, lawful, and genuinely yours.
Flat Pill uses AI to generate personalised cover letters and application materials on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before it is submitted to a landlord. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be free of errors, and you remain solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any materials submitted under your name.
Flat Pill does not guarantee that using our service will result in a successful rental application, a viewing invitation, or any other outcome. The rental market is competitive and outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including landlord preferences, availability, and local market conditions.
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
Our waiting list is free. Future paid subscription plans, if introduced, will be subject to separate pricing terms communicated to you clearly before any charges are made. We will never charge you without explicit consent.
All intellectual property in the Flat Pill platform — including software, design, AI models, and branding — is owned by Flat Pill or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use our service as described herein.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flat Pill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Flat Pill harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
You may stop using our service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we determine that your use poses a risk to other users or to the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
